Possum Creek is a charming, in parts 'glade like' area in the Byron Hinterland - made famous as Paul Hogan's choice for the location his Australian residence.

The not so well kept secret he discovered is an area rich in verdant green hills and valleys as well as pretty waterways. Possum Creek itself boasts a popular swimming water hole.

Twice daily on Possum Creek Road you will encounter 'cow jams' on 'poo corner' when one of the few remaining dairy farmers brings his herd in for milking. A little bit of patience here will afford you a close up look as the 'girls' mill around your vehicle on the way to or from milking.

Byron is a busy beach, tourist and backpacker hub that lights up like nowhere else on New Years eve! Both Byron and Bangalow host monthly weekend markets that are a 'must see'.

Bangalow is a truly charming 'heritage' but seriously 'trendy' town, fast developing a reputation as the restaurant mecca of the north coast (just 5 mins away).

The Beach House Studios - Bay Lane, Byron Bay

These fully self-contained studios or 1-bedroom apartments are conveniently located in the heart of Byron Bay behind the Beach Hotel. Overlooking popular laneway featuring restaurants and cafe's or just onto the more quiet common terrace area. With queen size beds, plus futon sofa lounges they can accommodate up to 4 persons.

Each Studio has a well-equipped kitchenette with 2 hotplates, bar fridge and microwave. There is a television in the lounge area and most units have reverse cycle air conditioning.

Only a 2 minute walk to Main Beach and a hop skip and a jump to restaurants and shops. You will need to provide your own linen and towels.
