This charming timber and tin cottage (circa 1890) was the original dairy farmer's house. Just down the drive from Serenity House, Serenity Cottage nestles amongst the roses.

Light and colourful, this home exudes warmth and is as cute as a button. It still retains the charm and feel of a cottage yet with a fresh approach.

loungeTimber floors throughout. Each room with doors opening onto the verandah. Cool breezes pass through in summer, yet you can curl up by the fire in winter.

There is a quiet, private feel to the cottage - enhanced by the cottage garden surrounded by a picket fence.

Serenity Cottage includes the veggie patch and chook pen. This food garden and some of the happiest chooks (there is no rooster!) in Byron, cater (in season) to the fresh egg and vegetable requirements of the estate. Take a look at our photo album.

Children: The absence of railings on the verandahs could be a safety hazard for young, mobile children. For this reason Serenity Cottage does not accept bookings for children between 9 months and 7 years of age.

Pets: Serenity Cottage has adequate fencing and is therefore 'pet friendly'.
